Review & approve

Feedback that ends the ping-pong.

Comments live on the frame, threads carry decisions, versions stay stacked. Clients get a link, not an account. Nobody downloads a thing to give feedback — and nothing leaves your control unwatermarked.

Threads

Conversations anchored to time.

Every comment is pinned to a timecode and a version. Discussions happen in threads — replies, resolve states, @mentions — so sign-off is a decision, not an archaeology project.

  • Replies & resolve

Discuss, decide, mark resolved. Resolved threads stay searchable for the record.

  • @mentions

Pull the right person in — they get a notification, not a forwarded email.

  • Internal vs guest

Team notes stay internal. Guest threads are separate conversations. Nobody leaks notes to a client by accident.

Versions

New cut? New version — same thread.

Upload a new version of any asset and the history stacks underneath it. Compare side-by-side to see exactly what changed before you approve. Comments carry context from the version they were made on.

  • Version stacks

Every upload keeps its place in the line. Nothing gets overwritten, ever.

  • Side-by-side compare

Two versions, one screen, synced playback. Approve with evidence.

  • Approval states

Approved, needs changes, in review — per version, with the reviewer and timestamp on record.

  • Internal comments

Team-only notes live inside the thread but never appear on guest links. Clients see decisions, not doubt.

Draw on the frame.

Words fail, pictures don't. Reviewers sketch directly on the frame — freehand, on any frame, right inside the guest link. The sketch saves with the comment and renders over the video when the playhead reaches that moment.

  • Freehand strokes, pinned to timecode

Circle the thing. The sketch waits for the playhead to arrive.

  • Guests can sketch too

Draw mode is live on every share link — clients point at the problem without writing essays.

  • Everyone draws — team included

The editor's review panel has the same draw mode: sketch on the preview, post the stroke with the comment, everyone sees it at that frame.

  • Team-only notes

Mark a comment internal and it never leaves the building. Guests see decisions, not drafts.

Governance

Approval you can put in front of an auditor.

Review events — comments, resolves, approvals, renders — are recorded as an audit trail. Export as JSON or NDJSON for sign-off documentation. Per-collection permissions decide who sees what; SSO via OIDC decides who gets in at all.

  • Audit trail UI with filters, plus machine-readable export
  • Per-collection permissions on the tenant library
  • Notifications for mentions, approvals, and render completion
  • API tokens so your pipeline can query the same record
  • Realtime co-editing with presence — two editors, one timeline, live playheads
