FAQ
Does trimming re-encode my video?
Yes — the cut segment is re-encoded to clean h264 + AAC, which guarantees frame accuracy and maximum compatibility instead of keyframe-snapped stream copies.
Can I trim a video without losing quality?
The output uses CRF 20, visually lossless for most content. For archiving, download the trimmed file and keep your original untouched.
How long can the clip be?
Files up to 100 MB; the first 60 seconds of the file can be trimmed into the output. For longer edits, open the result in the Aperture editor.
